How to Manually Version Update

Follow this process to manually update the AutoPost version:

Prerequisites

  • AutoPost should be pre-installed on your server
  • Rename the downloaded update file to source-code.zip (or as specified)

Steps

Step 1: Backup

Backup the following files and folders from your project root:

  • resources/lang
  • storage
  • .env
  • .htaccess (if applicable)

Step 2: Upload New Code

Upload the latest source code to your project folder.

Do not delete

Do not delete any files from the root folder. Overwrite or merge carefully.

Step 3: Restore Backup

Replace these from your backup:

  • resources/lang
  • storage
  • .env
  • .htaccess

.env Keys

Ensure all keys exist in the .env file. Add any missing keys from the new version.

Step 4: Browse Domain

Open your domain in the browser.

Step 5: Run Updater

You will see the version update page. Click Update Now and provide your email and purchase code if required.

Manual Version Update

Step 6: Complete

You have finished the manual version update. Log in with your credentials.
